Phosphating
Phosphating is a crystalline conversion coating for steel and other metals. As one of the most common surface pretreatment processes, the purpose of phosphating is to prepare the surface of parts before powder painting, wet painting, electro-coating, lubrication or bonding agent (adhesive) application for rubber-metal parts.
Typical process flow;
Degreasing, activation, phosphating, passivation and drying.
Types of phosphating;
Iron phosphating, Zinc phosphating, Zinc Calcium phosphating, Manganese phosphating, Nanocrystalline phosphating. -
Anodizing
Anodizing is the conversion of the surface Aluminum by electro-chemical means to form anodic oxide finish on the surface, introducing more durable decorative and corrosion resistant finish. Anodizing also provides better adhesion for paint primers. Aluminum raw product is the anode in the electrolytic cell. Anodic films can also be used for several cosmetic effects, either with thick porous coatings that can absorb dyes or with thin transparent coatings that add interference effects to reflected light.

Hard Chrome plating
Hard Chrome Plating, also known as industrial chrome or engineered chrome, is used to reduce friction, improve durability through abrasion tolerance and wear resistance in general, minimize galling or seizing of parts. Hard chrome is literally hard, a typical application is the hydraulic pistons shaft surface, for oil pits shafts are hard chromed.
